Isolating Spacer Set – For Superlock Range

The Gatemaster Isolating Spacer is designed specifically for use with the Superlock range and provides added protection when fitting our locks to aluminium gates. Each set includes two high-quality rubber plates—one sits between the bolt support plate and the gate frame, and the other between the gate frame and the forend plate of the lock.

By creating a barrier between the stainless steel components of the Superlock and the aluminium gate frame, these plates prevent galvanic corrosion, helping maintain the appearance, strength, and longevity of your gate installation.

What Is Galvanic Corrosion?

Galvanic corrosion occurs when two different metals come into direct contact in the presence of moisture, causing one metal to corrode more quickly.
